Remember Facing the Giants?
Well, Fireproof seems like it is going to be all that and more.
Kirk Cameron plays a fireman that is really a hero. He seems to be able to do all the right things for everyone but his wife. Finally it seems that the only solution is divorce.
Promising his father to wait 40 days, the Kirk’s character seeks a deeper relationship with his wife by seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
I think the best quote in the movie is the one where a woman says, “If a man can’t be a hero to his own wife, he ain’t a man.”

This looks like an awesome movie! I am hoping to go see it with my hubby. I didn’t see Facing The Giants…..what was that about? Is it available on video? At my library maybe?

Lisa it was an inspirational video about a football team..it is very good. It should be available on video.

We LOVE their movies (Facing the Giants and Flywheel), so we’ve been eagerly anticipating this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I loved the fact they emphasized that Jesus Christ needs to be at the center of your marriage.
I recommend this movie very highly!!

melanie- I don;t like seeing movies at theaters but I am planning on seeing this when it comes out on dvd. :)

I just got back from watching Fireproof… the over all message was solid for sure; it’s great that such a different-flavored movie made it into the regular, big screen.

I think we are seeing that more as the quality of “Christian made” films is on the increase.
