And now…for something completely different…..

I am the visual one between Marc and I.  Maybe it has to do with being an artist although Marc is certainly artistic) or maybe it is just the way I am made but I like eye candy.  I even like it on myself.

I think that one of the things that has troubled me over the years is that I wanted Marc to WANT me to wear sexy lingerie and I would not wear it just because I like it. That was a big problem because since he is not visual he just really did not care one whit whether I wore a red lace number with strategically placed cut outs or a pair of grimy gray sweats.

What I failed to realize was that it was o.k. that I cared. It was o.k. to wear them just for me… because I felt feminine and sexy in them.

So I am trying to change that…Or I was until our little world went widdershins and  the youngest two kids started having bad dreams and ending up in our bed…That seems to be changing (fingers crossed) so hopefully I can get back on track.

I tried having my nails done.  Marc liked it alot. I liked it until they started coming off and I had holes in my real nails all the way to my nailbed…sorry Marc, you will have to deal with the junky real-me nails.

I started getting LUSH bath products. Oh.My.Goodness.  Guys if you are looking for a great gift that may have benefits for you personally I don’t think you could go wrong here.  Lush was definitely  a hit for me.

And I started shopping online for fabulous (inexpensive) items of clothing that would make me feel a bit more female than “Mom of 8, Gramma of 2″.  That went well for both of us, I think.  Marc surprised both of us in that he is actually more visual than we thought…when he lets himself be.  Darn that Marine Corps discipline.  I swear, for some of those guys a stripper could pole dance around them, using their bodies as the pole,  when they are on guard duty and they wouldn’t crack a smile…If you are married to a Marine you MAY know what I am talking about.

However…One of my favorite places online to buy lingerie and other things is called Love Fifi. The clothes are adorable/sexy/fantastic and the prices are affordable -especially the sale prices.  I have a list about 10 miles long of stuff on that site that I want to buy when finances ease up.

Warning…guys…they do have live models so if that is something you need to stay away from please don’t go there.

Anyway, if you get on the e-mailing list you will get a notice of the sales.  They have sales almost every weekend..AND when you order,your stuff gets there in record time.  Exactly as you ordered it.

If you can’t find something at Love Fifi to spice things up then you are way beyond me in the “sexually adventurous  ” definition.
