Marriage Builder Monday
I am so late on this….
Do you ever feel like you are on a hamster wheel? That is how I feel this evening..every word I type feels like it clicks off one more thing on my to do list. I hate that feeling. I hate that it is such a bust time for me that it is affecting my relationship with Marc. He has been in so much pain he is really sleeping a lot..Poor guy, he will just sit down and conk out….so he isn’t talkative, and I am just typing…so I am not talkative…I am so glad we have weathered these types of storms before or I would be feeling very insecure right now, and I am sure he would as well.
I almost had a meltdown because he left tonight without kissing me goodbye. Somehow we have to wrestle our marriage back out of the hands of my blogging and his pain!
Anyway…all of that to say that Sarah has a different take on Marriage Builder Monday this week. This is what she suggests…ask one of these questions every evening to kick start some communication! What a great idea! Check it out, and sign up…even though I have had a hard time doing the things that I am supposed to because of time I am at least more aware of what I am NOT doing..does that make sense?
Monday: What is something that happened today that made you feel satisfied?
Tuesday: How are you feeling about yourself?
Wednesday: If we had unlimited funds, perfect pet sitters, and three days of vacation, what would you want to do?
Thursday: Is our marriage more like a river or an ocean? In what ways?
Friday: If we could relive our dating period, what would you like us to do differently? The same? Why?
Saturday: What is you favorite word? Least favorite?
Sunday: What were your favorite holiday traditions growing up? Do you still think they are important?

Morning Marye! Late is absolutely fine, there are days when I can’t get to the computer until after midnight! I completely understand about being aware of what you’re not doing…it too makes a difference. I hope the wuestions will lead to some amazing conversations in your home this week! My prayers will be with both you and Marc! Have a great day!
