Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to Bald Man and all you other daddies out there.

I am so thankful that Cory is the father of my kids. (Yes, Cory and Bald Man are the same person, lest you think I’m outing a deep family secret here! :P) He is a great dad to our kids. They know that he loves them; he tells them in words and actions. They know that they can come to him always (though they may have to try 2 or 3 times to get his attention if he’s on the Mac or watching soccer!). They feel safe and secure in his presence.

Cory strives to love each of our children as they need to be loved. That’s not always easy! Our kids are very much individuals, with individual needs. And though it’s not always easy, he really does try to love them individually. I think that’s one of the best gifts that a father can give a child, and I know he tries.
