Let’s get this party started…

It’s Thanksgiving week here in the good ole US of A, so I think we’ll spend a lot of time being thankful here this week. Well, at least I will. Have no idea what the boy will do. :P
Things I’m thankful for concerning my hubby:
I have a husband who’s bald and is good with it. (No cash in the grocery budget for Rogaine, anyway.) And has a nicely shaped head to boot.
I have a husband for whom a box of Mac ‘n’ Cheese counts as dinner, sometimes. And who can whip up pancakes or spaghetti for dinner if I’ve not gotten to dinner, yet.
I have a husband who, though he is freezing always, indulges my need for the ceiling fan on through the night in the middle of winter.
I have a husband who isn’t afraid to change the diapers. And who I know would help me change mine one day if it ever came to that. And who is willing to buy other products when necessary that sometimes make me feel like I’m wearing a diaper. :P
I’m thankful for a husband who doesn’t mind all too much if he finds me wearing his socks or one of his t-shirts, even if he still teases me about it 10 years later (and probably will until the end of time).
I’m thankful for a husband who helped us care for my Dad in his sickest and weakest moments, and who loved him as much as we did to the very end.
I’m thankful for a husband who shows our kids what being a loving husband is all about, and who loves them all so much as well.
What’s one thing that you’re thankful for concerning your spouse?

after 28 years I am thankful that he has a sense of humor! Because without it I would be sunk.

I love it! Those are the things that really matter and it’s refreshing to read about the little things.
I wanna play too - I’m thankful my husband knows how much I hate to fold socks and t-shirts and always jumps right in.

What a wonderful warm fuzzy post. I love my husband for so many reasons its tough to just find one. I am so thankful that after almost 18 years of marriage that my husband & I remain best friends and spend hours talking our faces off. Considering that we work together all day long is nothing short of amazing:-))

Marye: Agreed! Thanks for sharing. :) And congrats on 28 years!
Heather: Oooh….that’s one’s huge here, too. The day Bald Man was completely honest about how much he disliked how I folded his t-shirts was the same day that he offered to take over the folding. It was one of the happiest days of my life. *sniff, sniff* Thanks for playing! :)
