There’s going to be a tagging!!!

We’ve been tagged by Tracee Sioux of our sister b5media blog, BlogFabulous. It’s a “seven random things about us” kinda thing, so here goes:

1. We were both military brats. We believe that, when we were around the ages of 4/5, we were both stationed in Germany living only about 10 minutes apart. Not nearly as interesting as the couple that we’ve heard about who both grew up in the same town and realized one day that they were born so close together and in the same hospital that they were actually newborns in the hospital’s nursery together. That is crazy weird. But not our story.

2. We are so completely opposite that very many people said that we should really strongly consider whether or not we should actually get married. That includes the pastor who was doing our pre-marital counseling. I believe that he said that if weren’t for the fact that we at least scored close on our spiritual beliefs, he wouldn’t be so sure that it would be a good idea at all. Funnily enough, spiritual beliefs is probably the most likely thing that was rated on that test to actually change. Personality and family history? Probably fairly solid. Anyway, I’m quite sure that whole story will show up in another post.

3. Cory’s afraid of spiders.

4. I have a very sensitive gag reflex.

5. Cory’s the go-to guy when the kids puke. I’m the one who deals with the kids’ soggy food issues (cuz Cory is also afraid of soggy food).

6. We actually are best friends. To each other, even.

7. I’m older than Cory by, like, 10 months. And he likes to point that out. A lot. :P
